Khaleesi, is that you?

Let's call this makeup look ''If Daenerys Targaryen wore more makeup''. Doing just casual Daenerys makeup would be boring to me, even though I could play around with different features to really mimic her face, but who am I kidding, I am no Promise Tamang :) So, I just emphasised some features and this is what I came up with ...

(oh, and I don't even watch Game of Thrones (probably the only person on Earth) ... Well, I just watched first season and wasn't really hooked, even though it's not a bad series :))

- Bourjois Healthy mix foundation
- Catrice Velvet finish concealer
- Catrice All matt plus Shine control powder
- MUA Bronzed perfection
- Sleek blush Rose gold

- Catrice eye brow stylist Charlie Brown is Black in town

- MUA palette Immaculate collection - Shade 18, Shade 23
- Sleek palette Au naturel - Bark, Regal, Noir (yes, I use this palette all the time :P)
- Essence I <3 eyeshadow 01 Vanilla sugar
- Oriflame Kohl pencil Nude
- Essence Gel eye pencil waterproof Black blaze
- Yves Rocher Sexy pulp Ultra-volume mascara
- Maybelline Sensational Lash multiplaying mascara

- Essence Stay matt lip cream Soft nude
- Lipliner by Barry M - shade 5

Makeup is not blended well and it should be like that, because it adds to the character ...I think. I mean, she probably doesn't have a proper blending brush, she's too busy with the dragons :)

* No dragon was harmed during this photo shoot.

Witch makeup series | Witch of the Summer

Guys, it wasn't intentional that I haven't posted for soooo long. It's just ... or I am not organized or my makeup brushes are not clean. I have no other excuses :) Anyhow, I hope you are still part of the Deja Zu team, even though I fail as a blogger.

Today we continue with the witch series. Still remember this series? Let me refresh your memory ...

Today's look is representing Summer Witch. Yellow color representing the Sun, blue the Sea and black represents mystery :) HOWEVER, this is not the last witch look you'll see on this blog, I promise :)

The story behind the series:

Why a Witch?
Because I believe in magic and I am firm believer that witches did and still do exist. People just misinterpreted their powers and energy.
A Witch is highly intuitive woman, natural healer (she can heal just with her presence), who is not afraid to set her goals high, is strongly connected to her Inner self/Soul/Being, is a woman of Nature, Moon and positive vibes. She is basically a magnet, what she needs and what her heart truly desires, she gets. She's a giver - giver of Love, Light and Blessings. Believes in magic, but she practices only white magic and does only good, because is a firm believer of Karma - what you do comes back to you.

There's no bigger story behind each look. I just tried to mimic the Witch characteristics - mysterious, glamorous, magical and beautiful with seasonal colours.

Tim Burton series (collaboration with Petite Sal) | Romantic goth

My little self and even more little Petite Sal decided to do a collaboration makeup series, Tim Burton inspired. We came up with 4 themes, expect one every Friday for the rest of the month. Today we start with just inspired by Tim Burton in general - romantic goth. His characters are kinda scary, goth looking, big eyed, pale skinned, but they are also (hopeless) romantics, lovable and harmless. I'm a big Tim Burton fan, not just because you can see Johnny Depp in most of his movies! ;)

Anyways, now to the look. I kept it matte, I haven't seen a goth with shimmer and dewy finish yet, but you never know ^^. I would call this semi-wearable, still toned down, but eyes are dolled up and I messed up my hair, Edward Scissorhands style (one of my favourite movies ;)).

Make sure you check out Petite Sal's blog for the look and stay for a while, her blog is awesome!

Weekly makeup tag: No tools

I was thinking if I should even post this look, because it's so über simple and minimalistic that it's kinda ridiculous. This week's theme was "no tools", I imagined that means no brushes and no eyelash curler, but I used liquid eyeliner (already has a brush) I hope that's not called cheating ;). I didn't apply any blush because I don't have any cream products for face atm (blush or bronzer). It's hard to blend all the eyeshadows with your fingers though, but it was a great challenge ;)

Check out Aqeela's blog to see what other lovely ladies created.
And sorry for crappy pictures,it was already getting dark.

Lippie of the day: Lip stains need some love too!

I used to be so obsessed with lip stains and lip sticks that dry out my lips. I just applied lip balm over them and colour lasted me all day. Now I still like them, but I also developed my love for moisturizing lip products.
Today I'll show you Oriflame lip stain in colour Raspberry.

This lip stain is from Oriflame, I don't know if it's still sold or not. It's "Very me click it" product, which means you combine it with another product on the other side. I combined it with green liquid eyeliner.

Stain has the same applicator as lip gloss and it applies really smoothly, but you have to apply it twice on certain areas, otherwise it can be streaky. I think it's the same with all lip stains.

I love this bright pinkish shade. That day everyone kept looking me in my lips. Anyone else has the same problem when wearing bright colour? Well, I do that too sometimes, but if I like girl's lipstick, I give her a compliment and ask what shade she's wearing. :)

And that's how it looks on me :)

Do you like lip stains? What's your favourite?
