5 favourite lipsticks

Today I'll show you my top 5 favourite lipsticks. It was hard to pick just 5 when you have more than 40 lippies, but there are some shades I pick more than others.
And sorry for the shitty application ;)

MUA lipstick Shade 11 is my number one pick for everyday makeup. Since it looks like my lip colour (but better ;)), I don't have to be super neat when I'm applying it. Sometimes I even use it as a lip balm, without a mirror :D. Love the creamy texture and staying power is quite long for such a cheap price.

I like orange lipsticks and Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti made me fall in love with them. You may have heard a lot about lip butters, they're really moisturizing and glide on like butter. The only down side is that product can melt easily on high heat and become messy (that's what happened with mine). This shade is buildable.

I love Ingrid 292* shade so much, it's my second pick if I don't pick the MUA shade ;). I love the texture and it stays on my lips for hours and hours without touching up. It even stains my lips a little.

I cannot finish this post without a red shade. My all time favourite is Revlon matte Really Red. The most beautiful matte red with blue undertones, glides on like butter and stays on for quite sometime. you just need to have smooth and moisturized lips, otherwise it won't look as beautiful.

Another Revlon lipstick (it's not on purpose, I just seem to like their lipsticks :)) is their Just Bitten Kissable balm stain in Smitten. This one really stays on my lips over 10 hours, because it stains my lips, I just reapply it during the day for moisture. Colour is buildable.

Tell me, what are your favourite lipsticks?

Look, mum, I'm a YouTube star. Not.

I've promised a "How to contour video" loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago. I've filmed it and video was really confusing, because English is not my first language and I was quiet most of the time, searching for the right words in my head, the other half of the video I was laughing my ass off (what can I say, I'm a funny guy). So, I deleted it.

So, I filmed myself yesterday, but it's not a video about contouring, it's how I did my eye makeup. I actually just wanted to try to edit something simple. My camera allowed me to film only 8 minutes, so I filmed only eye makeup. Next time I'll try to film how I do my whole face ... and will make whole video better ;)

Click here to see a video.

Products used on my face (because you can't see exactly what I'm using and what I already had on my face):

Face:
- Bourjois Healthy mix foundation
- Essence Stay all day concealer
- Catrice multicolour blush LE Hollywood's fabulous 40ties
- Essence Crystaliced highlighter

Eyes:
- Essence I <3 stage primer
- Sleek Au naturel palette
- Barry M Bold Black Waterproof eyeliner
- Essence liquid eyeliner
- Australis Lash TLC mascara
- Catrice eyebrow pencil for brows

Lips:
- Revlon lipbutter Cherry Tart

And yes, this was my day makeup.

Oh, and subscribe if you'd like, this is a new channel. I already had 2 videos on my old channel, but I wanted to start with a new one.

Hope you had a lovely weekend <3

Weekly makeup tag: spring fling

To be honest, I still don't know what "spring fling" is, even though I googled it! *sigh* I know what the spring part is, but what is the fling? :D

Anyways, I took my inspiration from spring - nature, weather and the fact that we are closer to the summer time :D. Weather wasn't really warm yesterday or today, but I can't wait for warmer weather! I don't like wearing coats, boots, gloves and one billion layers ... they are ruining my style! However, I like wearing beanies and scarves, but I can wear that in warmer weather too. :]

Stop rambling, Deja! Show us the look! Ok, here it is ;)

Of course you need to check out Aqeela's blog to see what other lovely ladies created and you are more than welcomed to join us :)

I felt the need to add a hairband! :)

Face:
- Bourjois Healthy mix foundation
- Essence Stay all day concealer
- Sleek blush Rose gold

Eyes:
- Essence I <3 stage primer
- Misslyn Intense colour liner 240
- BellaPierre pigment Money
- MUA eyeshadow shade 6 pearl
- Costal Scents 88 palette - the darkest green
- Bourjois Contour clubbing eye pencil 50 loving green
- Avon super shock Gel eyeliner
- Bourjois Volume glamour mascara Ultra-volumateur
- eBay falsies
- Catrice eyebrow pencil for brows

Lips:
- Revlon Lipbutter Tutti Frutti (I LOVE this shade!)

So I took pictures, looked at them, but something was missing. I added some glittah for some razzle dazzle! Gold glitter I used is from Barry M, applied it over Pixie Epoxy "base" from Fyrinnae.

Which one do you prefer more: without or with glitter?

Enjoy your Wednesday! :)

February favourites

It's this time of the month again, time to talk about my favourites of the month. I haven't bought any makeup or nail polishes this month, I just bought Bourjois healthy mix foundation yesterday because it was -50% and I needed it, mmm-kay? :)

Enough talking, let's start with the favourites :)

Most products are the ones I got in a swap. First one I have to mention Rimmel Glam'eyes professional liquid eyeliner. Brush is so thin and I can easily do perfect winged eyeliner. And it's also super pigmented.

Next thing has to be Revlon Just bitten kissable balm stain in Éprise. Was my go to lippie of the month and the best thing is that it lasts all day long. I just reapplied it to give back some moisture to my lips.

For my cheeks I've been using a lot BYS blusher in Fierce fuchsia, which is super pigmented, have to be careful to not look like a clown :) and Essence Cherry blossom girl blush in Asain sensation, really pretty peachy shade.

Next product I wanted to mention in my last favourites post, but I forgot, so I'll do it now. I've been loving L'Occitane Stick deodorant for men (yes, for men!). You can't really smell it once applied, but it does its work. I got it for Christmas from my mum.

And non-beauty related ... I really enjoyed watching The Avengers, you know I love super heroic movies :). Favourite song of the month I couldn't decide ... Been listening to Marina and the Diamonds A LOT. Whole day on repeat.
Haven't read any books this month though. Will do better in March! :)

What are your monthly favourites?

My first swap ever: Valentine swap

I joined  Sweetaholic beauty's Valentine swap. This was my first swap ever and it was so fun! Looking forward for doing more in the future ;) Jasmine paired me with Amy, who blogs over at Bottled Beauty. Check her out! She is so lovely.

Anyways, I received the package extremely fast, in one week that is, and she is from Australia! She still haven't received mine, although I send it one day before she did.

Here are the goodies she got me:

She wrote me a Valentine's card, which I believe is first one in my life which is not from my mother :D (don't laugh!)

I really wanted to try Revlon Just Bitten Kissable stains, because they are not sold here in Narnia. She got me colours Sweetheart/Valentine and Smitten/Éprise. Anyone knows why do they have 2 names?
Anyways, I got so excited when I opened Sweetheart that I damaged a tip of a stain with a cap, need to be more gentle with my babies :). So far I like them!

I'm not a Rimmel virgin anymore! :D
Look at this gorgeous shade! It's red, dark red but on a berry side. It smells amazing and I think it goes really well with my skin tone! Although I never match anything to my skintone. I rock everything :P
Oh, this lippie is Lasting finish by Kate in  09 Rossetto.

Another Rimmel product is their Glam eyes Professional Liquid eyeliner. I love that brush is tiny so you can do a really fine line and it's also really pigmented. I've read that it's a good product, now it's my turn to be the judge :)

We have Essence in Slovenia, but she got me Lipstick pencil in 01 Cherry cherry girl from their Cherry Blossom collection. I believe that this collection is not sold here anymore, but I also haven't bought anything from it, but I really liked those pencils. And now I have one :)

Quick swatches. From left to right: Rimmel Rossetto, Essence Cherry Cherry girl, Revlon JBK Sweetheart and Smitten. Underneath is swatched Rimmel eyeliner.

Another Rimmel product she got me is their Lasting finish nail polish in 500 Disco ball. I mean, who doesn't love disco balls? I want to have one at home when I have my own place :D. But disco ball nails will have to do for now :D
Then she added some Australian brands, I always love to try new products :).
This glitter baby is by Australis Nail glitter top coat in Fairy bread. It looks alike to Essence Confetti one, but colours are slightly different and glitter is in different shapes.

Another Australis product is Lash TLC conditioning mascara. I was pleasantly surprised that wand is curved, I actually used to curve straight wands on my own. I had no expectations, whatsoever, but I was surprised how amazing this mascara is. It lenghtens my lashes, but it also gives me volume. And Lord knows I need help with that :D

I feel like this post is taking forever :D
She also got me 2 blushes, first one is BYS blusher in Fierce fuschia. It's such a pretty mixture of pink and coral shade with shimmer, never seen before a beauty like this one!
Second one is Essence Cherry blossom girl blush in 01 Asain sensation. It has two shades: blush and highlight. Really handy ;).

Quick swatches: from left to right: Essence lighter shade, darker shade and BYS.

Last but not least, is Eye shadow palette Summer days from Sports girl. She said this brand is like Australian Topshop and she got it for weekly makeup tags ;). How thoughtful!
Unfortunately, one of the shadows broke as you can see, but other colours are still in one piece and ready to use :)

Aaaand that's it. I hope she receives her package soon, I got her Catrice products and I hope she likes it all :).
You'll see all the products mentioned here in my future posts.

Thank you for reading and have an amazing day!!
