Lippie of the day | Finally, bright orange

I was searching for bright orange lipstick for the longest. I love bright orange lips for many reasons: it's bright, it's orange and it's bright orange ;) I got this lipstick just yesterday, and I decided to show you this beauty, just because I like it so much.

Lipstick I was wearing today was Avon Ultra colour Tangerine Tango. It's creamy, moisturizing and really easy to apply. Packaging is casual shiny black and lipstick has slightly sweet scent. It's opaque in one application.

Shade is (I would describe it as) neon blood orange shade and it has tiny gold shimmer in it, which is not even visible. Shimmer becomes slightly visible when it wears of a little, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Lipstick is long lasting on me, it wears of slightly when I ate and drank, but overtime it kinda stained my lips a little. I even tried to blot it with a tissue, but no colour transferred to it. And my lips were still bright orange. It moved slightly into the fine lines around my lips, but nothing a lip pencil can fix (I wore it without).

I got some stares today, I must admit, it's so bright and in your face against my pale complexion, you can't really not see it. It's for girls who dare to wear bright shades for sure. And luckily I'm one of them ;)

Tell me, do you wear orange lipsticks? Do you like them? <3

Lippie of the day | Heart breaker

I received this beautiful lipstick as a Christmas gift (with all other goodies) from my lovely and beautiful friend Sal from PetiteSal blog. We did "a little swap" and she surprised me with three lipsticks. Heart breaker was one of them.

This fun shade is from Rimmel called Lasting finish lipstick in 016 Heart breaker. Formula is super creamy, glides on like butter, but with that you have to be careful, because it will get in your fine lines around your lips and will smudge if you're not careful wearing it. It doesn't survive a meal (only outline stays on me). I recommend using it with a lip liner and powder it to seal it.

Shade is dark-bright rapsbery pink. I wouldn't call it "in your face pink", but it's an eye catcher for sure. It doesn't contain any shimmer or glitter. To make it more subtle, you can just tap it on your lips and spread it all over the lips with your fingers to give them some colour.

How do you like it? Did it break your heart? :)

Lippie of the day | Wet stain

Oh, hi! Haven't forgotten to blog, but when blogmas was over, I had a feeling like I don't need to blog anymore. No post ever written by itself, silly me :).
Anyways, today I have another lippie of the day post for you.

I was wearing Catrice Wet Shine Stain Long-lasting lip lacquer (that's a mouthful) in colour Fatal. This one was realised last year in limited edition collection (I don't remember which one) and I got it.

It's a red shade with berry undertones, has lip gloss finish and if you look really closely it has tiny glitter/shimmer in it, but I can't really see it on my lips. I absolutely adore this shade. To me it looks like very vampire like, like you just had a feast (and you know what vampires eat/drink ;)).

It's not the most comfortable lip product to wear, since it's quite sticky and you have to be careful not to get it all over your teeth (have to do the "finger trick" before going out). since it's more liquid-y product than a regular lipstick it can get in your lines pretty quickly (you can see than on the picture above).

Tell me what do you think about this shade. Do you have it?

Lippie of the day | God of Love

Wow, it's been awhile since I've done lippie of the day post. If you don't remember those posts, I'm basically showing you what lipstick I wore certain day and write a short review.

Today (it was basically yesterday) I wore NYX Lip Smacking Fun colors in 536 Eros. I ordered this lipstick few years ago on eBay, it's probably one of the most neglected lipsticks I have, even though it's such a pretty shade - bright warm red with orange undertones (even though it doesn't look like that in pictures). It has teeny tiny shimmer in it, but you can't really tell when you have it on the lips.

Consistency is super creamy, glides on smoothly like a butter, because of that it's the best to wear it with a lip liner, otherwise it will get in lines around your lips. Staying power is not the best, but if you use lip pencil and set it with a powder, wearing time is longer. It can be sheer on some spots with one application, but it's buildable.

And that's how it looks on me.

Tell me what you think of this shade.

Lippie of the day: Lip stains need some love too!

I used to be so obsessed with lip stains and lip sticks that dry out my lips. I just applied lip balm over them and colour lasted me all day. Now I still like them, but I also developed my love for moisturizing lip products.
Today I'll show you Oriflame lip stain in colour Raspberry.

This lip stain is from Oriflame, I don't know if it's still sold or not. It's "Very me click it" product, which means you combine it with another product on the other side. I combined it with green liquid eyeliner.

Stain has the same applicator as lip gloss and it applies really smoothly, but you have to apply it twice on certain areas, otherwise it can be streaky. I think it's the same with all lip stains.

I love this bright pinkish shade. That day everyone kept looking me in my lips. Anyone else has the same problem when wearing bright colour? Well, I do that too sometimes, but if I like girl's lipstick, I give her a compliment and ask what shade she's wearing. :)

And that's how it looks on me :)

Do you like lip stains? What's your favourite?

Lippie of the day: Touch of Magic

Have you ever heard about a green lipstick that changes colour once applied? If you haven't I'll introduce it to you today :)

It's Barry M lipstick in colour Touch of Magic.

It was nonsense to photograph a name on the packaging, because it is already scratched (the only thing I dislike about Barry M lipsticks). The packaging is matte black, really sleek looking, but it gets dirty really quick. I still love it though :).

As you can see, colour is vibrant green, yes green, but once you apply it, starts changing in pinkish shade. I've read that it "calculates" colour that will suit you best. I don't know about that, but I love how it looks on my lips. It becomes quite vibrant pink with blue-ish undertones. It has no shimmer or glitter, which I love.

It doesn't wear off, it stains my lips like a regular stain, but it's also really moisturizing for at least few hours. If you eat or drink (or kiss ^^) moisture will go away, but you can reapply it or just apply lip balm on top, which works great for me as well.
This lippie is one of my favourites for sure!

And that's how it looks on me:

Have you ever tried "green lipstick"? Do you like Barry M lippies?
