Weekly makeup tag: High street fashion

I am not really into fashion and I've never done high fashion makeup look. I wanted to do extreme eyes without eyeliner and mascara, almost sickly looking, contour and dark lips, so I went with black, it doesn't get darker that that ;).

Weekly makeup tag: Creative Goth

What is Creative Goth? I still have no idea!
So I tried to do cyber goth, wanted to do more colourful look, edgy and bold, lips at the end became gradient and eye makeup was green with dramatic liner. I didn't want to cover my brows, I just brushed light concealer through them and draw on some goth brows. I just realized I look angry with brows drawn in so close. :D
However, I really like the end product, I hope that you do too ;)

Weekly makeup tag: No tools

I was thinking if I should even post this look, because it's so über simple and minimalistic that it's kinda ridiculous. This week's theme was "no tools", I imagined that means no brushes and no eyelash curler, but I used liquid eyeliner (already has a brush) I hope that's not called cheating ;). I didn't apply any blush because I don't have any cream products for face atm (blush or bronzer). It's hard to blend all the eyeshadows with your fingers though, but it was a great challenge ;)

Weekly makeup tag: Goth

Yay, it's Wednesday! :)

This week's theme was goth. I've never done goth makeup before, that's why I love these tags so much, they challenge me and give me chance to try something new :).

I paled my pale skin even more, and combined black with red. I had to photograph the pretty look before I "destroyed it". Tell me which one do you prefore more ;)

Weekly makeup tag: Marilyn Monroe

Second Wednesday this year, I hope you're already making this the best year ever. If you don't, I will tell you how: click. ;)

Aaah, Marilyn Monroe, her look is such a classic, never getting out of style. Did you know that she usually used dark brown eyeshadow as her winged liner applied with wet brush? Also, she created another wing on her bottom lashline so it looked like her lashes are so long that they created a shadow underneath. For her lips she used at least 3 different colours: darker lipliner, red lipstick with blue undertones and lighter colour in the center. She over drawn her lips to make them bigger and rounder. She rarely used any blush, she contoured under her cheeks, forehead, reshaped her nose and highlighted like crazy :). Did you know that for photography back in the day they used vaseline? But just for photographs, if you wear it throughout the day it will smear all over your face.

Sorry if I look extremely sleepy in this photos, drilling woke me up in the morning and I wasn't completely rested. My hand was also little bit shaky, not the best look I can do, but it will have to do :)

I knew right away that I'm going to do Iron man inspired makeup. Because I love Iron man. I mean, who doesn't? :)
