Go away winter!

I wanted to post a review today, but I wasn't in the mood to write it, so I decided to scare the sh*t out of winter, becase I'm sick and tired of this weather, it's time to greet spring! And last few days weren't really spring-y ... So today's post is a total "joke", you know me and my love for doing crazy makeup looks ;).

At the beginning of February we had Mardi Gras/masquerade/carnival thing, similar to Halloween. This "holiday" is meant to say goodbye to winter and say hello to spring. I posted pictures on my Twitter and Facebook, so I decided to do it here as well ;)

First look I did on Saturday (Feb 9th) and the second on Tuesday (Feb 12th).

Can you tell I'm a big Johnny Depp fan?

This was my inspiration for weekly tag disco theme. ;)

Hope you're having a lovely Monday despite the weather.

Halloween series: HALLOWEEN MADNESS

I've done so many Halloween looks this month, that I am happy that I don't have to do any of them any more (can you believe that I said that? lol). Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed doing them, but on the other side, they could take me up to 6 hours (with photographing, writing a post, cleaning afterwards etc.). Now it's time to take it easy :).

Today's post will be just a recap of all my Halloween looks/posts I did this month and give you some last minute costume ideas.
Let's start with whole makeup & costume looks. Click on the picture to see a whole post on the look.

Which one is your favourite? I love them all equally, I think.

I also did one quickie. How to look unpresentable, sick, beaten up and definitely not sexy and pretty under 10 minutes:

Halloween manicures:

And I suggest you make this pie for a perfect autumn/Halloween time, or maybe eat it during watching scary Halloween movies in the evening :] (click on the picture to see the recipe).

If you still don't know what to wear on Halloween. You can always go out as Justin Bieber. All you need is a hoodie and sunglasses. Baby, baby, baby never say never!

You can also go crazy and dress casual, don't do any crazy makeup, just cover yourself in glitter and be Edward Cullen! Shine bright like a Vampire! :]
Or be Vanilla face (Bella), put that retarded face on and cover your face with really light foundation.
(this is meant to be a joke, sorry if I insulted any Twilight fans ^^).

If you are not feeling Halloween-y at all, you can always be invisible man/woman and don't show up anywhere.:)

Thank you for taking your time and commenting. Means the world to me <3
Oh, and I managed to blog every single day in October. This is insane :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

P.S: I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see your Halloween looks, so if you tweet them to me, post them on my facebook wall or email them to me, I will be the happiest! :)

Halloween series: Halloween manicure (Jack Skellington and bloody hand)

I realized that nail art can be really fun to do if I want to, so I decided to do two Halloween manicures today. :) I'll just put both in one post, because I still have 3 Halloween related posts to post in this last three days of October.

I've seen cutepolish's video this week and she did Jack Skellington inspired manicure (see the video here), so I decided to recreate it. Because Nightmare before Christmas is my favourite Halloween movie and I love Jack Skellington, although he doesn't look like himself on my nails :D. Maybe he was drunk or something.
I did his face on my ring finger and the rest of the nails are inspired by his suit.

Revlon 999 Blackest black
Essence multi dimension 68 Perfectly true
Oriflame Visions nail art stripers in Wall paint and Black deco

On the right hand I wanted to do something bloody, but still a little bit glamorous. So I decided to apply glittery silver polish as a base and sponged on some blood (I mean red polish) so it looks like I dipped my nails in a pot full of blood. I guess :)

Essence Nail art cracking base colour 02 Sparkling silver
Catrice 070 Caught on the red carpet

Which one is your fave? I like my left hand much more, but cannot stop looking at my right hand, probably because it sparkles. :)

Have you done any Halloween inspired manicures? I would love to see them! You know hot to reach me :)

Halloween series: "make yourself unpresentable" (makeup under 10 minutes)

I know not all of you want to spend a lot of time doing Halloween makeup and spend a lot of money for costume. So, I will show you today how to make yourself unpresentable, you will need only matte brown eyeshadow, fluffy brush, red eyeshadow, red lipstick and clear lipgloss and vaseline. Optional are red lipliner, black liner, purple eyeshadow and eyebrow pencil.

Firstly I applied brown eyeshadow with fluffy brush under my cheekbones, in my crease, concentrating on the inner corner (where your brows start), on the sides of my nose, on yaw line and on my temples.

Then I applied red eyeshadow with the same brush under my eyes and on my lids. Then I mixed red, purple and brown eyeshadow and applied it under my eyes, so I look ill or beaten. In my waterline I applied red lipliner and went all around my eyes with vaseline so it looks more swollen, it gives more sick appearance.
Eyeshadows from CoastalScents 88 palette, lipliner Bourjois.

For the lips I used Revlon matte lipstick, the more imperfect you apply it, the better. I even smudged it around my lips a little and used clear gloss on top. So you look like you just eaten someones brain. If you get some of your lip products on your teeth, brilliant, your doing your unpresentable look right! I went a little bit crazy and applied some of the black eyeliner on my teeth also.
I filled my eyebrows unevenly with Catrice brow pencil.

I just teased my hair a little and put some gauze around my head and neck. Just for fun:)

Congratulations, your "make yourself unpresentable" look is completed. Outfit/costume is completely up to you.

Happy Halloween!

P.S: If you're going out for Halloween, please tweet me your costume/makeup pictures, or post them on my facebook wall or e-mail them to me (dejazu.blog@gmail.com). I would really love to see your looks!

Halloween series: PORCELAIN DOLL (gone crazy)

Hello Halloween lovers! I have another, sixth Halloween look for you. I can't believe how time flies!

This time I did porcelain doll, who went a little cray cray at the end, but first I show you "the normal one" (although I think it's still kinda creepy). I present you to Sally, porcelain doll, with killing skills :].

Firstly, I covered my eyebrows while I was talking to my sister on the phone. I used the glue stick method. Video here: click.
Then I caked up my face, literally. I applied NYX concealer all over my face to cover imperfection and make me more pale. For foundation I mixed Bourjois Organic detox foundation and Barry M white foundation and applied it all over my face. I set everything with Catrice powder AND baby powder.

Then I used white Essence eyeliner to make my eyes little bit bigger and set it with matte white eyeshadow. I started shaping around with matte black eyeshadow and did a cut crease on the lids, above my natural crease. I used purple eyeshadow to start applying it around where I just put black and shimmery pink to blend. Went back and forth with black, purple and pink to achieve desirable shape.
All eyeshadows MUA Immaculate collection pallete.

On my lids I applied Essence Crystal-iced in Diamond dust. What can I say, my porcelain doll likes glittah.
Then I lined underneath my extended eye and above my real eye with Essence gel liner in black. Applied eBay lashes .

I applied NYX mosaic highlighter all over my face to achieve that shine porcelain dolls have.
I draw on some doll like eyebrows. Firstly I sketched them with white eyeliner and went over with Catrice brow pencil and Sleek Au naturel Bark eyeshadow.
For blush I used Elf blush in Pink passion and blend it with the same shimmery pink as I used for eyes.

For the outfit I chose black skirt with polka dots (I wore it for Joker girl) and red t-shirt. For shoes I went with peep toes with cute bows and white sock from H&M.
The blond wig is kanekalon wig (like from the Alex, Clockwork orange look), bought it on eBay. I just braided it.

So this is the cute-er version, I prefer the following... :)

Wanna play?
For the lips I used Elf lip stain in Fashionista.
Blood (fake that is) is the same as I did for my evil nurse look, I just saved it in a fridge.

I didn't do it, I swear!

B-bye! (with creepy voice)
