Masquerade: Cheshire Cat (Tim Burton version)

Another day, another masquerade look :)

Check out Venetian mask makeup HERE.
I made a little promise to myself - that I will try to do more face paintings and maybe even, eventually, body paintings. Let me just say that it's such a challenge, but I love me some challenge :)
I had Cheshire Cat in back of my head for the longest and yesterday I finally decided to try it. I realized that you just have to keep doing it and finish it, even though at the beginning looks like crap. And to be honest, I actually started to remove one of the sketched eyes, but then I said to myself that I should continue and see how it turns out. And this is what I came up with ... :)

Products used:
- Avon Supershock Gel eyeliner
- Bourjois Noir & Blanc eye pencil
- MUA 3 in 1 eXtreme contour liner
- Essence kajal pencil 04 White
- Sportsgirl Eye like summer days eyeshadow palette - shimmery white

Halloween series: Boogey man

Do you know how a Boogey man looks like? No? Me neither, but in my mind he looks like a really pale dude, because he hides in closets, right? Right. Has big mouth and sharp teeth so he can eat naughty children and is covered in blood, because he has a good appetite :). I also added some veins on the face, which were more noticable in real life.

- Essence Stay all day concealer
- Barry M Whirte foundation
- baby powder
- Coastal Scents 88 palette
- Avon gel eyelineer pencil

- glue for paper work, toilet paper
- fake nails for teeth
- fake blood

And that's how I got rid of my fake mouth and teeth. :)
I decided to do this makeup, because my twitter user name is @BooogeyWoman after all :). Hope I didn't scare you too much!

I hope you like it and don't forget to check your closet before bed time ;)

Halloween series: Forest Witch

Guess who's back? And it's not Eminem ;)

Hellllooooo, how are you all doing? I missed you! Did you miss me? ;)
And instead of another blah blah blog post, I decided to get straight back to business. Halloween is around the corner and I still haven't done any Halloween looks! Expect at least 4 looks this year and if you need more ideas, check out my last year's looks here: click.

Today I did Forest Witch, because I didn't want to do regular witch and paint my whole face green, so I went with half face of wood looking skin to represent the forest, which I am not 100% satisfied with, but I got a little rusty not doing anything special to my face for such a long time. *sigh* :) The other half of the face is heavily contoured, pale and eye makeup has added reds and purples. The only thing missing was contact lens in my left eye, but I didn't want to bother my eyes with lenses, I just got rid of them last year, so imagine it yourself ;)

Face:
- Bourjois Healthy mix serum
- Barry M white foundation
- Essence Match 2 cover concealer
- eBay concealer palette
- baby powder

- Bourjois eyeshadow 90 Blanc

Eyes:
- NYX jumbo pencil Black bean
- Coastal Scents 88 palette (black, purple, red, white)

Go away winter!

I wanted to post a review today, but I wasn't in the mood to write it, so I decided to scare the sh*t out of winter, becase I'm sick and tired of this weather, it's time to greet spring! And last few days weren't really spring-y ... So today's post is a total "joke", you know me and my love for doing crazy makeup looks ;).

At the beginning of February we had Mardi Gras/masquerade/carnival thing, similar to Halloween. This "holiday" is meant to say goodbye to winter and say hello to spring. I posted pictures on my Twitter and Facebook, so I decided to do it here as well ;)

First look I did on Saturday (Feb 9th) and the second on Tuesday (Feb 12th).

Can you tell I'm a big Johnny Depp fan?

This was my inspiration for weekly tag disco theme. ;)

Hope you're having a lovely Monday despite the weather.
