Weekly makeup tag: Geisha

I love Wednesday's, how about you? :)
This week's theme was Geisha. I already did one Geisha look for Halloween (check it out here), this time I skipped white face, and I also did a modern version of it, because traditional Geisha makeup is not that challenging (it's still beautiful, don't get me wrong).

Check out Aqeela's (momma of weekly makeup tag) blog, and see what have other participants created :) CLICK.

Halloween series: HALLOWEEN MADNESS

I've done so many Halloween looks this month, that I am happy that I don't have to do any of them any more (can you believe that I said that? lol). Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed doing them, but on the other side, they could take me up to 6 hours (with photographing, writing a post, cleaning afterwards etc.). Now it's time to take it easy :).

Today's post will be just a recap of all my Halloween looks/posts I did this month and give you some last minute costume ideas.
Let's start with whole makeup & costume looks. Click on the picture to see a whole post on the look.

Which one is your favourite? I love them all equally, I think.

I also did one quickie. How to look unpresentable, sick, beaten up and definitely not sexy and pretty under 10 minutes:

Halloween manicures:

And I suggest you make this pie for a perfect autumn/Halloween time, or maybe eat it during watching scary Halloween movies in the evening :] (click on the picture to see the recipe).

If you still don't know what to wear on Halloween. You can always go out as Justin Bieber. All you need is a hoodie and sunglasses. Baby, baby, baby never say never!

You can also go crazy and dress casual, don't do any crazy makeup, just cover yourself in glitter and be Edward Cullen! Shine bright like a Vampire! :]
Or be Vanilla face (Bella), put that retarded face on and cover your face with really light foundation.
(this is meant to be a joke, sorry if I insulted any Twilight fans ^^).

If you are not feeling Halloween-y at all, you can always be invisible man/woman and don't show up anywhere.:)

I would really like to thank you for reading those posts and thank you for still talking to me after seeing some crazy looks :P. I thought you would think I'm completely crazy :].
Thank you for taking your time and commenting. Means the world to me <3
Oh, and I managed to blog every single day in October. This is insane :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

P.S: I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see your Halloween looks, so if you tweet them to me, post them on my facebook wall or email them to me, I will be the happiest! :)

Halloween series: GEISHA (modern version)

It's hard to blog everyday if you don't already have something written ahead. And I'm not in the mood for writing something long and informative today, so I decided to do another Halloween post. We are October 15th already, Halloween is around the corner basically, I need to speed up everything :).

Here is my Geisha look, but it's not really a traditional one, it has more of a modern feel to it. Traditional look is just white face and some red on the outer corners of the eyes, black or red eyebrows and tiny lips.
Here is my interpretation:

I used NYX concealer in lightest shade to hide any imperfections. I applied white Barry M foundation all over my face and set it with regular baby powder.

For eyes I used red eyeshadows, pink and the lightest shadow (CoastalScents 88 eyeshadow palette) to blend everything. Also, I used Elf blush in Pink passion.
For lining my eyes and for the eyebrows I used black eyeliner from Avon.
I cut falsies in half and applied them just on the outer corner to elongate my eyes a little bit and make them more Asian looking.

I can't remember which lip pencil and lipstick I used, I think it was Oriflame lip pencil and Revlon matte lipstick.
I bought this folding fan on eBay last year, and I think this rose came with cocktail when I was in Spain :)

I don't have a kimono, but this shirt is kinda Asian inspired, I bought it last year at Ann Christine.
I put on regular black leggings and VJ style booties:

I changed my hair part to cover my undercut and used bobby pins to secure them. I laso teased my crown area (I would do a bun, but my hair is short). Et voila, I became a blond Geisha! :D

Four more looks to go!
Which one is your favourite so far? :) How do you like this one?

See, I can do pretty "normal" ones too. haha

Konnichiwa!
