Go away winter!

I wanted to post a review today, but I wasn't in the mood to write it, so I decided to scare the sh*t out of winter, becase I'm sick and tired of this weather, it's time to greet spring! And last few days weren't really spring-y ... So today's post is a total "joke", you know me and my love for doing crazy makeup looks ;).

At the beginning of February we had Mardi Gras/masquerade/carnival thing, similar to Halloween. This "holiday" is meant to say goodbye to winter and say hello to spring. I posted pictures on my Twitter and Facebook, so I decided to do it here as well ;)

First look I did on Saturday (Feb 9th) and the second on Tuesday (Feb 12th).

Can you tell I'm a big Johnny Depp fan?

This was my inspiration for weekly tag disco theme. ;)

Hope you're having a lovely Monday despite the weather.

Halloween series: HALLOWEEN MADNESS

I've done so many Halloween looks this month, that I am happy that I don't have to do any of them any more (can you believe that I said that? lol). Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed doing them, but on the other side, they could take me up to 6 hours (with photographing, writing a post, cleaning afterwards etc.). Now it's time to take it easy :).

Today's post will be just a recap of all my Halloween looks/posts I did this month and give you some last minute costume ideas.
Let's start with whole makeup & costume looks. Click on the picture to see a whole post on the look.

Which one is your favourite? I love them all equally, I think.

I also did one quickie. How to look unpresentable, sick, beaten up and definitely not sexy and pretty under 10 minutes:

Halloween manicures:

And I suggest you make this pie for a perfect autumn/Halloween time, or maybe eat it during watching scary Halloween movies in the evening :] (click on the picture to see the recipe).

If you still don't know what to wear on Halloween. You can always go out as Justin Bieber. All you need is a hoodie and sunglasses. Baby, baby, baby never say never!

You can also go crazy and dress casual, don't do any crazy makeup, just cover yourself in glitter and be Edward Cullen! Shine bright like a Vampire! :]
Or be Vanilla face (Bella), put that retarded face on and cover your face with really light foundation.
(this is meant to be a joke, sorry if I insulted any Twilight fans ^^).

If you are not feeling Halloween-y at all, you can always be invisible man/woman and don't show up anywhere.:)

I would really like to thank you for reading those posts and thank you for still talking to me after seeing some crazy looks :P. I thought you would think I'm completely crazy :].
Thank you for taking your time and commenting. Means the world to me <3
Oh, and I managed to blog every single day in October. This is insane :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

P.S: I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see your Halloween looks, so if you tweet them to me, post them on my facebook wall or email them to me, I will be the happiest! :)

Halloween series: GEISHA (modern version)

It's hard to blog everyday if you don't already have something written ahead. And I'm not in the mood for writing something long and informative today, so I decided to do another Halloween post. We are October 15th already, Halloween is around the corner basically, I need to speed up everything :).

Here is my Geisha look, but it's not really a traditional one, it has more of a modern feel to it. Traditional look is just white face and some red on the outer corners of the eyes, black or red eyebrows and tiny lips.
Here is my interpretation:

I used NYX concealer in lightest shade to hide any imperfections. I applied white Barry M foundation all over my face and set it with regular baby powder.

For eyes I used red eyeshadows, pink and the lightest shadow (CoastalScents 88 eyeshadow palette) to blend everything. Also, I used Elf blush in Pink passion.
For lining my eyes and for the eyebrows I used black eyeliner from Avon.
I cut falsies in half and applied them just on the outer corner to elongate my eyes a little bit and make them more Asian looking.

I can't remember which lip pencil and lipstick I used, I think it was Oriflame lip pencil and Revlon matte lipstick.
I bought this folding fan on eBay last year, and I think this rose came with cocktail when I was in Spain :)

I don't have a kimono, but this shirt is kinda Asian inspired, I bought it last year at Ann Christine.
I put on regular black leggings and VJ style booties:

I changed my hair part to cover my undercut and used bobby pins to secure them. I laso teased my crown area (I would do a bun, but my hair is short). Et voila, I became a blond Geisha! :D

Four more looks to go!
Which one is your favourite so far? :) How do you like this one?

See, I can do pretty "normal" ones too. haha

Konnichiwa!

Halloween series: EVIL/CRAZY NURSE

*If you get scared easily, then don't look at this at night :P*

Here is my first Halloween look for Halloween series (or should I just call them "watch me make me look unpresentable?" :D) and I'll be doing them whole October. I will do at least 8 of them. I just hope people will still want to talk to me after this ... :)
I was inspired by AudFaced evil nurse video (click here). I wanted to do this look for the longest time and now is the perfect time!

I introduce you to a nurse, who is a little bit crazy, probably been in a hospital for a little bit too long. And you can see she has some sharp tools and she is not afraid to use them. You can call her just "Boogey Woman". (@BooogeyWoman is my Twitter name. Thank you @sweetaholic who suggested this name :))

Ready to take some shots?

I was home alone, that's why I had to be one of those girls who take pictures of them in the mirror. *sigh*
Red T-shirt Vero Moda, white shirt H&M, black shorts eBay, black tights with blood :) and black peep toe shoes from Schuh.
I just cut a little red cross and pin it to my shirt.

I made a little card with a name, written with homemade fake blood.
Fake blood made with agave syrup, cacao and red strawberry aroma flavor for food.

I made a little retro nurse hat (video here). Cross drawn on with fake blood.
Luckily, my mum is a nurse, so we had gloves and injection at home. I bought mask at a drugstore.

Lips: Bourjois lip liner in Rouge, NYX jumbo lip pencil Deep red, NYX lipstick Eros, random lipgloss.
Face: MUA BB cream mixed with Barry M white foundation, Artdeco setting powder, Avon colortrend Transclusent tan & silver eyeshadow for contour.

I used Too faced shadow insurance , NYX jumbo pencil in Milk, all eyeshadows (on lids, underneath & eyebrows) Coastal Scents 88 eyeshadow palette, Essence gel liner, Essence Get big lashes mascara, eBay falsies, red eyeliner in waterline Bourjois lip pencil.

Other tools: gauze, letter opener, little knife, injection on a plastic silver plate.

Make sure you come back for your next appointment! :)
