I ♥ Autumn/Fall Tag

Guess who's back?! Hint: it's not Eminem. ^.^

I didn't have intention to do this tag, but since I was tagged, I'll do it :) I was tagged by wonderful Petite Sal, I swear she is my twin or at least sisters, we like the same things, it gets creppy sometimes how alike we are. 1. Favorite Fall lip product?

Just one? I love berry shades atm. Catrice Tell Me A Berry-tale and MUA lipstick shade 2 for example, but currently I'm not wearing any makeup at all, just concealer and lip balm.

2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?

I like wearing fluorescent yellow a lot lately. Not really a fall colour, but I'll rock it this fall and winter if I want to! :) I wear a lot of red and black polish throughout whole year :). 
I can't wear any eye makeup yet, so I have to balance it out with lipsticks and nails :D


3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink?

Yeah... Starbucks ... I'm not a big fan of Starbucks, probably the only person who doesn't like it and we don't have it in Slovenia anyways, so nothing. :) I drink teas all the time though. 


4. Favorite Fall Candle?

I've seen 2 variations of this question, and I am not familiar with Yankee candles, so I would have to say citrus-y scents all year long :P. And I've received Magnolia candle for free not so long ago, I haven't lit it yet, but I swear that I smell it even when I sleep. Smells so niceee!

5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory.

Leopard print scarf from eBay and red scarf I bought in Venice. I love scarves, I wear them all the time.


6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?


I don't even know what these things are. 

7. Favorite Halloween movie?

Nightmare before Christmas. I hate scary/horror movies, I just like doing scary makeup looks. My imagination is running wild even without watching horror movies. I prefer psychological thrillers.


8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?

We don't celebrate Halloween in my country, so none and I don't even eat candy. I don't call myself health junkie for nothing, bad for my fitness!


9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?!


We don't celebrate it, but I did a Joker girl makeup look and stayed at home, because I'm that cool. We have something similar in February (masquerade/Mardi Gras thing-y) and I dressed up as a Drag queen this year. :)

I wore purple false lashes and pink lipstick, because Joker girl know what's in trend now.

10. What is your favorite thing about Fall?

This is going to be a weird answer. I like that my skin gets paler and that my foundation matches my body again. I think I look weird when my skin is darker and if I wear darker foundation to match me, it just looks wrong one me. Snow white for life!

Perfect autumn lippie: Artdeco High Performance Lipstick 498 & a dupe

I bought Artdeco High performance lipstick last year, I think it got discontinued and bought it on a discount, but don't worry, I have a dupe for it. :)

*this is not a review*

I like Artdeco products, but they can be really pricey. I always looked on this company as European (I don't know if it's sold all around the Europe) Mac brand. I may be wrong, but I see some similarities. But I'm probably wrong :)

Back to the lipstick ...

It has creamy texture, it provides smooth application and it has a really nice sweet smell.
Lipstick doesn't have any shimmer, glitter, it just has a nice shine to it, so I wouldn't recommend using it with lipgloss. I think the price was around 8€, but I'm not sure (regular price of HP lipsticks are 12 €).

In my first MUA cosmetics order I order three lipstick and one of them looks really similar to Artdeco one. I swatched them together and they are almost the same! Take a look:

Left: MUA Shade 2, Artdeco 498

MUA one has slight shimmer to is, but it's unnoticable until you smudge it. Texture is similar to Artdeco one, MUA is slightly darker, but I think it's prettier colour, and also much cheaper (£1.00).

I think those 2 are perfect shades for autumn/fall.

RANDOM: Autumn/fall chit chat, October plans, Halloween craziness etc.

Hello, beautiful people. Autumn is here and it's perfect time to start wearing my combat boots from London again. I've missed wearing them. However, I just don't like the fact it's already so freaking cold! I'm cold all the time, I even got sick *sigh*.

With that said, I have some exciting news (at least they are exciting to me:)): I will post a new blog post every single day in October. Whoop whoop! And I even plan to do Halloween series, at least 8 looks - full face and costume, and I will try not to buy anything new, I don't want to spend a lot of money on costumes, wigs ... Don't you LOVE Halloween? I know I DO! We don't celebrate it in Slovenia, there are just some random Halloween parties, but we don't go trick 'r treating (insert a sad face).

I already have 7 looks planned (I still need 1 idea), but I'm opened for your suggestions if there is something you would like to see me to do. Warning: I don't do sexy looks :). 

It will get crazy. I promise :D

Also, I think time around Halloween is perfect time to watch one of my favourite cartoons The Nightmare before Christmas and my favourite cartoon TV show - The Grim adventures of Billy & Mandy. I'm such a big child :)

Lastly, if you haven't noticed yet I have a new blog banner and simple white background. I think it's super pretty and the blog description "Beauty, health and everything in between." sums up my blog content. I think:). What do you think baout new design?

6 new lippies

I bought so many new makeup lately, but I still don't have a proper skin care products. Oh, well :)
I went a little crazy over buying lipsticks, some of them are on a natural side, for I discovered I don't have enough natural shades, and some are deeper shades for fall, everything in a purple family.

I introduce you to my new army.

I didn't like shade 5 from MUA, so I gave is to my mother, she is always so happy when I give her some makeup I don't use or like :). Catrice lipstick reminds me of my favourite natural shade from OriflameVibrant Beige. And the Nectar one. My oh my, I feel in love with it yesterday. I'm going to wear it a lot. 

 

Essence Wild Craft lipstick 01 mystic lilac, MUA lipstick shade 2, Catrice Ultimate colour 160 Tell Me a Berry-tale

 All in the purple family. I wanted dark purple lipstick for the longest time, but I didn't want to spend a lot money on it. Mystic lilac was perfect shade and cheap. MUA lippie shade 2 is kinda dark pinkish purple shade. I really like it. And the one from Catrice is really nice deep berry colour.

I didn't do any specific makeup looks for summer, so I decided to do at least 2 fall looks using some of my new shades. Yay! :)
