Tim Burton series (collaboration with Petite Sal) | Alice in Wonderland

Last makeup from the series (sad face). This week's theme is Alice in Wonderland and I knew that I want to do either Queen of Hearts or Cheshire Cat. I was searching for a little inspiration on the wonderful wide web and decided to do Queen of Hearts. This time I wanted not to recreate the actual character, but to interpret it in my own way.

So, why I did both eyes differently? I did right eye first, if I wouldn't like it I could start all over and it's easier to remove makeup just from one eye, but when I finished right eye, I thought it would be fun to do left eye differently. Why not? :)

Recipe: 2 INGREDIENT COOKIES

I love simplicity. I always prepare the simplest recipes, because I don't like the mess that is left after and I don't like it to be time consuming. I have more important stuff to do in that time :)

Anyhow, today I'll show you how to make sugar-free, super fast and simple 2 ingredient cookies. But if you feel "fancier" you could make them in to 4 ingredient cookies ;)

Ingredients:
- oatmeal (I used around 120 g of oatmeal, but 100 g would be enough too)
- 2 bananas
- raisins (optional)
- cinnamon (optional)

Preheat your oven to 175˙C. Mash both bananas. You could use your hands or fork, I prefer using my hands :).

Then you add oatmeal and mix them well together.

If you feel fancy, add raisins to taste and about half of a teaspoon of cinnamon, mix again. You can also use almonds or any other nuts. Be creative ;)

I used a teaspoon to form the cookies directly in to a cookie sheet and kinda pressed them down a little as seen in the picture above. Continue until you run out of mixture then place your cookies in the oven.

Bake them for about 15 minutes. You can eat them right away, but they are also good the next day or day after ... if there's anything left ;)

Enjoy your cookies and let me know how you like them :)

Bon apetit!

Tim Burton series (collaboration with Petite Sal) | Edward Scissorhands

Edward Scissorhands ... the only Edward that should be loved ... if you know what I mean ^^ (sorry, Twilight jokes never get old to me).

Jokes aside, today's theme was Edward Scissorhand and I had no idea what to do. I wanted to do half face Edward, the other half face Kim, but I had no idea what to do for her side and I also don't have a wig that would suit her, but my dark hair (it's not black btw) suited Edward part, so I went with the full Edward face. That means covering my brows and all that good stuff (if you follow me longer, you know I am not a big fan of covering my long thick eyebrow hair). Good thing camera washed me out, in person it didn't look that good :)

Make sure you check out Petite Sal's look HERE.
And make sure you check out romantic Goth we did: Sal & my take.
Aaaand previous week The Nightmare Before Christmas: Sal & my take.

FOTD | Maleficent

I know I know ... "Deja, where is weekly makeup tag?" Yes, I'm still a participant, but this week we had to send our pictures earlier, because momma of Weekly tags, Aqeela, went on holiday (lucky gurl!) and I didn't have time to do new makeup look. So, I decided to send my old (but gold!) makeup look I did for The Penguin Challenge last year. I mean you can tell it's not from now, my hair looks completely different :)

Check out Aqeela's blog here and show other girlies some love! We work hard, mmm-kay?
And here's my full (drag) black and white makeup: click.

Back to today's FOTD. I was going through my makeup stash (I feel like I do that weekly, but it's still a mess) and found purple eyeshadow that I never used before. Well, time to put you on my eyelids, baby. I combined it with light green and black, at the end actually reminded me of Maleficent, villain from the Snow white story. Aaaand here's the look:

Get ready with me | Everyday makeup

I filmed myself on Saturday. I'm a YouTube star again! :D
Whenever I'm clueless what to do with my makeup, I go for winged liner. I just change lipsticks and blushes/bronzers and highlighters, but wing is basically the same. I love using Catrice gel liner for this, I've almost used it up already. I doesn't smudge, I don' have to go over with matte black shadow, it dries matte.

Here's the video:

I already broken down all the products in the video, but I am writing them down for you here as well:

Eyes:
- Artdeco eye primer
- MUA shade 16 matt
- Artdeco eyeshadow 6 (it's actually eye brow shadow, but it's too orange to use it on my brows)
- Catrice absolute eye colour 090 Bring me frosted cake
- NYX Mosaic highlighter
- Catrice gel eyeliner
- IsaDora Big bold mascara

- Catrice eyebrow pencil for brows

Face:
- MUA Matte perfect primer
- Deborah BB Cream
- Essence Stay all day concealer
- Artdeco fixing powder
- MUA Bronzed perfection
- NYX Mosaic highlighter

Lips:
- Ingrid cosmetics in 292

If you have a Youtube channel as well, please leave the link in the comment, so I can subscribe!

Hope you like the video. Happy Monday!

Tim Burton series (collaboration with Petite Sal) | Nightmare before Christmas

Another Friday in May, another makeup collab with Petite Sal! Thank you for all support and lovely comments you left last week! Check out last week's post here and Sal's take here.
And check out what Sal did this week and show her some love ;)

Nightmare before Christmas is one of my favourite animated movies and I decided to go with main character, Jack Skellington.

I am not 100 % satisfied (just 99,9 % ;P) with my today's look, because I ran out of white face paint and I couldn't fix what I wanted to fix! I guess I had been doing a lot of skull and clown makeup looks in the past ^^.
I hope I still resemble Jack! And yeah, I was playing around with lightning and editing. Hope you don't mind ;)

Products break down:
- water based white and black paints
- Catrice gel eyeliner
- Bourjois Eyepencil Noir & Blanc
- Coastal Scents 88 palette (matte black & grey)

Don't even ask how long took me to remove all makeup!

Happy Halloween, wait what? Christmas? Happy Friday!

Weekly makeup tag: Sweets

Aaaah, sweets! I don't really eat them, but when I think of sweets I think of bright colours. I knew I wanted to incorporate yellow and I though that purple is a nice contrast. Green is there for no reason :P and pink lips are also sweet. Colourful! I would call this "something different", because if I do my eye makeup, I usually do classic winged liner or dark smokey. Stepping out of my comfort zone :). But I absolutely love playing with colours!

Make sure you check out Aqeela's blog to see what other lovely ladies came up with and show them some love <3

I love how my nails go with sweets theme as well!
